With over 4,500 users spread across multiple sites throughout the city of Derby, staff and contractor transport is a key service which Rolls-Royce PLC provides to its employees.

As Rolls-Royces chosen transport partner for its shuttle bus service, TransLinc offers a regular timetable for more than 11,000 passengers a month, with no more than 12 minute intervals between vehicles, 12 hours a day, 5 days a week, 52 weeks of the year, providing a valuable link between Rolls-Royce engineering and administrative sites, the railway station and a number of hotels in Derby.

The specific requirements of the service are developed in conjunction with the Transport Manager at Rolls-Royce, from which a full timetable is established. When Rolls-Royce reallocates staff and facility resources in response to changes in its business priorities, TransLinc modifies the timetable to reflect these changes, while continuing to deliver the same high levels of service to the users.
