TransLinc delivers a quality service at Christmas
TransLinc, the leading provider of specialist fleet management and passenger services to local authorities, is celebrating a job well done at the end of this years Christmas market in Lincoln.
The Lincoln Christmas market ran from Thursday 3 December – Sunday 6 December 2009 and, in partnership with Stagecoach East Midlands, TransLinc has ferried thousands of passengers to and from the festive attractions.
The market attracted over 160,000 visitors over the four days to Lincoln making it one of the largest markets of its kind in Europe.
TransLinc and Stagecoach East Midlands partnered for the first time to deliver a highly professional transport service for visitors to the market, with TransLinc providing 8 fully accessible minibuses to transport visitors in wheelchairs and for individuals with mobility restrictions. Stagecoach completed the service with low floor accessible modern double deck buses providing visitors with transfers from the Park and Ride site to the market.
