Service excellence and value for money make TransLinc a leading player in Contract Hire industry
TransLinc, the leading local authority fleet provider, has again been named as one of the UK’s top 50 Contract Hire companies according to an annual industry survey.
Against the backdrop of a difficult economic climate and performing alongside pure car and LCV hire companies, TransLinc recorded its fifth inclusion in six years in the prestigious Fleet News FN50 list.
In addition, TransLinc Contract Manager Rob Hobson was short listed for the prestigious FN50 Customer Service Award which recognises excellence in customer service by employees in the Contract Hire market.
Rob's dedication to customer service over his 13-year career with TransLinc was applauded by Barry Brockbank, Group Business Manager: Environmental and Fleet Services for Solutions SK Ltd.
Barry said: "Rob has been instrumental in moving our fleet forward in terms of expansion, improved vehicle selection and the development of new IT systems. This robust customer service and the tangible improvements we now see in our fleet arrangements have generated considerable confidence in both Rob and TransLinc.
Fleet News is the leading source of news and expertise for decision-makers of the £40 billion company car and van industry and is read by more than 18,000 named fleet decision-makers every week.
TransLinc also features on the Business Car BC50: UK top 50 lease firms for the first time, debuting at number 40.
BusinessCar is available in print and online and targets the needs of fleet managers, finance, HR and purchasing directors who want to understand the key issues involved in running car and van fleets.
Paul Wood, TransLinc Managing Director, said: "Our continued inclusion in the FN50 list and now our first entry on to the BC50 list is testament to our ongoing dedication to customer service.
“Vehicle contract hire is about more than just supplying a vehicle. We work closely with our customers to understand and meet their requirements, which has made it particularly pleasing that Rob Hobson has been short listed for the prestigious FN50 Customer Service Award."
