TransLinc supplies new Fiat Doblos to London Borough of Lambeth

The UK’s leading local authority fleet service provider, TransLinc, has supplied six Fiat Doblo vehicles to the London Borough of Lambeth on a four year contract hire agreement.

The latest delivery is part of a framework contract, won by TransLinc in July 2008, to supply Light Commercial Vehicles (LCVs) to the London Borough of Lambeth.

The latest delivery of six Fiat Doblo Cargo MPVs is the third batch of vehicles to be supplied to the London Borough of Lambeth and will support the transport requirements of the social services department within the council.

In late 2008 TransLinc also supplied 30 Fiat Scudo and Fiat Doblo Cargo Vans to support the car parking and housing departments.

Richard Albon, Regional Sales Consultant for TransLinc said, “The contract with the London Borough of Lambeth enables TransLinc to provide an extensive range of vehicles to support a variety of areas within the council. We have supplied a range of Fiat’s for the London Borough of Lambeth as they have a history of working with the brand and currently receive great support from the local dealer Morgan Elliott.

Arvin Kane, Transport Manager for the London Borough of Lambeth added, “This is the third delivery of vehicles we have had from TransLinc and is part of our commitment to ensuring all areas of the council are supported by the latest, most efficient vehicles. The flexibility of Fiat’s current range of commercial vehicles and MPVs meets all our requirements and TransLinc’s approach to contract hire enables us to continue working with our local maintenance supplier, Hightech Cars.”
