TransLinc celebrates long service award

Colleagues and friends have been paying tribute to Tom Mehew, the deputy supervisor at TransLinc's Boston depot after 35 years of service.

TransLinc celebrates Tom Mehew's 35 years of serviceTom joined A&W Elsey Ltd in Gosberton as a driver in 1973, before being promoted to Traffic Manager. With the purchase by TransLinc of Elseys in 1999, Tom bought his experience to the new role of Deputy Supervisor for the company.

Margaret Serna, Passenger Services Director for TransLinc said, "I'd like to take the opportunity to thanks Tom on behalf of both companies for his dedication and commitment over the past 35 years.

Tom has exemplary customer relations skills and all who have come into contact with him appreciate the care, interest and passion that he puts into his work.

Tom's colleagues hold him in very high regard and he is known with great affection by staff past and present".

In recognition of Tom's tremendous achievement he was presented with a DVD player.
