TransLinc awarded ISO9001 accreditation.
Local Authority fleet service provider TransLinc has announced the award of ISO9001 accreditation to it's Whitehaven Service Centre.
TransLinc took over management of the workshop and responsibility for six employees under TUPE transfer legislation in October 2007 after securing a 10-year full outsource contract for Copeland Borough Council to supply and manage light and heavy commercial vehicles, refuse collections vehicles (RCVs) and grounds maintenance equipment.
The workshop, which is based in Whitehaven, has a Class 4 and 7 MOT testing licence and is run as a commercial operation managing maintenance for Copeland Council as well as local businesses.
Dave Parsons, National Operations Manager for TransLinc said, "We are delighted that the Service Centre at Whitehaven has been awarded ISO 9001 accreditation. The award is testament to the hard work of the staff that they have been able to acheive this in just 14 months and reaffirms to our customers our ongoing commitment to quality service."
