TransLinc sponsors the Solutions SK Achievement in Excellence Awards 2008

The ‘Achievement in Excellence’ award ceremony recognised the efforts of departments and individuals working for SolutionsSK, based on their contribution to the Stockport Community. Categories for the main awards included: cultural creativity, environmental impact, customer excellence and health and safety. Individuals were also honoured in categories including: ‘Long Service’ and ‘Volunteer of the Year’.

TransLinc works closely with Stockport Council, providing vehicles that are utilised by the teams at SolutionsSK. From road and pavement sweepers for the Streetscene team, to gritting vehicles and minibuses, TransLinc’s fleet management service offers SolutionsSK the standard of equipment and peace of mind required to delivery its service in emergency situations.

Rob Hobson, Regional Sales Manager for TransLinc said: “TransLinc has worked closely with Stockport Council for 7 years, providing a variety of vehicles to support all areas of the council. We support the annual SolutionsSK awards recognising the team’s effort throughout the year, supporting all areas of the local community.”

SolutionsSK deliver a diverse range of important services to the community, having provided over four million school meals and resurfacing 10 km of carriageway in the past year.
