ISO9001 award for TransLinc workshop
Staff at TransLinc’s Trafford depot are celebrating the award of ISO9001 Quality Management Standard accreditation, less than 18 months after becoming part of the organisation.
After winning the Fleet Contract Hire with Maintenance contract at Trafford Metropolitan Borough Council in Jan 2007, the maintenance staff and workshop facilities were transferred to TransLinc.
Geoff Penney, Corporate Compliance Manager said, “We have introduced into Trafford the same systems and process that we operate at all the other TransLinc facilities. ISO9001 calls for staff at all levels to be suitably trained, while our documented processes allow us to control and improve the flow of work through the workshop, which can reduce vehicle downtime for our customers.
I’m delighted that the Trafford workshop has received the ISO9001 award as it is recognition of both the staff's hard work and demonstrates TransLincs ongoing commitment to our customers.”
