Top Award for TransLinc Driver
TransLinc driver Richard Jackson is celebrating winning the coveted Minibus Driver of the Year category in this year’s Max Respect awards, leading an impressive representation for the company, with eight of his colleagues also receiving nominations.
This year saw 210 nominations for the Max Respect Driver of the Year award from pupils and parents of schools across Lincolnshire.
Short listed drivers in each category were invited to attend a competition day at Lincoln Fire Brigade Headquarters, which consisted of a series of written and practical assessments with points awarded accordingly.
Richard was presented with his trophy at an award ceremony at the Lincolnshire Show on 19th June 2008 where he also received prizes of a VIP day at RAF Cranwell as well as a £50 voucher of his choice.
Margaret Serna, Passenger Service Director for TransLinc said, “I’m delighted for Richard and all the other nominated drivers. The dedication and commitment they show to their passengers is second to none and their nominations and Richard’s win clearly demonstrate that their passengers agree.”
