Owning and operating a fleet of vehicles is a highly capital and resource intensive undertaking. The upfront costs of the vehicles, coupled with the fleet administration and management costs make it a significant activity within a Local Authority.
TransLinc offers its Local Authority clients a comprehensive Contract Hire with Maintenance package which improves budgeting, significantly reduces fleet administration, removes vehicle maintenance and residual risks and frees up Local Authority capital.
Both the Contract Hire and Maintenance costs are fixed for the duration of the contract so monthly outgoings are not affected by the peaks and troughs normally associated with purchasing and maintaining vehicles, simplifying your budget process, removing administration costs from the Local Authority. TransLinc also takes on the risk associated with the disposal of the vehicles, removing the Local Authority from the vagaries of the used vehicle market.
Maintenance can be offered through one of TransLincs own service centres, at an accredited independent workshop, or it can be sub contracted back to a Local Authority workshop if there is a need to keep maintenance in house.
